WHO IS KOZMO?

     Kozmo is a Houston, TX native who began honing her craft as an entertainer at age four. As a youth, she studied both ballet & musical theatre at Houston’s renowned Theatre Under the Stars, Alley Theatre, and Onstage Kids. Kozmo’s love of music was earliest nurtured by performing in both her school & church choirs, while winning numerous awards as a competitive dancer for her schools’ dance teams. Reaching the pinnacle of her dance career, Kozmo joined one of Houston’s most reputable dance companies, Dance Houston, before relocating to Los Angeles, CA with her mother.

     Upon arrival to sunny California, Kozmo continued pursuing her passion for dance at Millennium dance studio in Hollywood, CA. In addition, she worked independently with A&R Worldwide to further develop her expertise as a songwriter. During her high school career, Kozmo regularly performed The National Anthem at school rallies, performed as a soloist at choir + orchestra productions, and even received a special invitation to perform at a hockey game hosted by the LA Kings.

     By the age of 15, Kozmo had starred in her first nationally & internationally-syndicated commercials for both Skype (2015) and X-Out by ProActiv (2014), while making it through several rounds of auditions for American Idol and America’s Got Talent. She served as a supporting actress in her first feature films Lucky Girl (2015) and CainAbel (2016) which are currently streaming on Netflix, BET, and Tubi.

     In addition to her trailblazing artistry, Kozmo’s philanthropic efforts have not been lost upon the hearts of those who have met her along the way. During Kozmo’s senior year of high school, she partnered with the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) to promote her campaign raising $10,000 for survivors of domestic violence. As a result of Kozmo’s inspiring efforts, she was able to publish her first article in the local newspaper and speak in an exclusive radio broadcast for KHTS AM 1220 on behalf of DV survivors during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Ultimately, Kozmo’s pursuits in social championship granted her 1st Place Winner of the 2016 Young Women in Public Affairs Scholarship award from Zonta International, one of the largest & most influential women’s rights advocacy organizations.

     While pursuing her undergraduate University career, Kozmo extended her talents to nightlife as a celebrity talent host for various Hollywood nightclubs including Le Jardin and Playhouse. Simultaneously, she began her career as an independent recording artist and has since released four singles [On the Low (2018), Body (2020), Magic Manifester (2021), and Soul Collector (2023)] and three EP’s [X (2018), X:II (2018), and Capricorn SZN (2019)].

Some of Kozmo’s proudest bodies of work include her three self-published books The Power of the Pussy (2017), Body by Kozmo (2020), and Magic Manifester: The Master’s Guide to Creating Your Own Reality (2021).
